Dr. Orfe's Concert will feature music of Chopin
during this Peoria Symphony Guild Musical Evening.

Dr. Orfe is a temporary assistant professor of music
at Bradley University. He has bachelor's and master's
degrees from University of Rochester's Eastman
School of Music and a doctorate from Yale University.
He came to Peoria in 2007 as an artist-in-residence
at the Prairie Center for the Arts.

Bradley University sponsored, this all-day workshop is to help students prepare for upcoming performances or contests and give them the opportunity to learn about business and performance issues which are pertinent to pianists who are considering music study in college.

Illinois State University School of Music

 

Illinois State University has nearly 200 School of Music events every year.  Student Recitals are added as they are scheduled which is an ongoing process.  About half of our performances are free admission.
